i think it's pretty nasty, yeah.

I don't think anybody in this day would want a sport truck. Especially with all the truck guys wanting the biggest truck really.

I would.

I *hate* that I can't get a small truck anymore. The smallest truck on the market is the Toyota Tacoma, and those things are HUGE compared to the 80s 'yota pickups.

When I'm putting stuff in the back of a pickup, I don't see the need to have to have it 45 feet in the air. One of these would be PERFECT for moving engines around.

Well, were I wanting a new one, Ford stopped making them (the F-150 is Ford's current "small" truck offering).

That and I've just never liked the ranger. Every one I've ridden in has had some problem, either the tranny was going out, the engine was on it's last legs, or it was just abolutely gutless.

I'm not saying all Rangers are like that, but the few I've been in left a bad taste with me.

Especially when I compare them with the Toyota pickups I've been in. The *only* complaint I can make about the Toyotas is that the 22R is shy on power on trucks that have power steering and a/c. Mine had neither, and it went like a bastard.

Every Ranger ive ridden is has been a pretty nice truck except for the farm truck that had 220k on it, it was worn out.

Yeah, you're right, that was just rumor.

Either way, I won't be buying a Ranger anytime soon.
