Yea we did when the tranny was messed up though and never had a chance to once fixed. it was a 3spd auto. it ran high 13 best run with the fubared tranny. it a 0-35mph monster not so much highway speedster. lol. the gearing just didnt allow for it. it damn near lifted the front wheels off the ground. I should say it had a street/strip cam in it also. just didnt have any pictures of it after it went in.

niiiiice.... i have always been a fan of those early 70's montes... when i was about 7 years old my oldest bro had a 70' monte 454 that was built.. it was completely wicked... like 450HP. he always told me that when i was old enough that he would give it to me.. well, that day never came, he was racing his buddy in an 80 vette & his monte lost it & then it wrapped around a tree..

i really wanted that car dammit...

but i ended up with a 67 chevy truck w/ a 383 stroker for my first vehicle.. my dad & i are fully restoring that right now.. i should post up some pics!
