Chrysler Cirrus clicking from front end

On my way to work I heard a clicking coming from the front driver-side. It only clicks while coasting or light acceleration, but not under normal acceleration or braking. It clicks faster the faster I go, but stops at around 25 and goes away. I'm going to guess CV joint, but the wheel hubs were just replaced two days ago, and I was wondering if a shoddy job could have caused this. I'm also wondering if it is the CV joint, would I be ok driving it home after work (about 15 miles)? Thanks for the help.

Sounds like CV to me, does it get better or worse when you turn?

If it just started clicking, you'll be fine for getting home, but definitely get it replaced soon.

Also, is the boot torn?

If the boot is torn, just replace the cv, because without that boot being intact, the oil will not lubricate it well, and it kill the CV
