well its not going to be all the way
but i would like the dual exhast, a new(or low miles) 3.8 engine and the body kit and a new tranny
if any one has any sites for parts would really help

(as an fyi here.. you can buy a real SHO for under $2500 now a days and are looking at double that for the swap)

The rule of thumb I've always heard for any motorswap is to get the whole donor car if you can. For a SHO you're gonna need a lot more than just the motor and tranny - you're gonna need the ECU, the wiring harness, the fuel systems may or may not be compatible, and if you're dropping in the 5-speed, the SHO is the ONLY Tarus that had a stick, so it's almost certainly the only place to find the pedal assembly you'll need.

are u realy sure that they all come 5 speed because look at this

yes you would be better off just buying one.. they are really fun cars once you get the cam gear welded.

they come in auto and 5 spd.. I would get the 5 spd as the autos had some issues.

No, there were automatic SHOs, but the ONLY manual Taurii were all SHOs.

Urmm... all Taurii with manual transmissions are SHOs, but not all SHOs have manual transmissions... does that makes sense?
