Moving The Seat Back

So after driving my xterra for over 6000 miles in a matter of a couple weeks i discovered im too cramped in the seat. as far as leg room. how do i move the seat back, rail and all? is this a difficult mod or no? 06 Xterra X 4.0 V6 DOHC.

Usually seats are bolted down no? Unbolt it, move rail and seat back to a comfortable position, mark the position by filling in the holes with a marker or something, drill new holes, bolt them back up, the end?

Are you meaning to drill new holes in the rail or the body?

Rails - sure fine, go ahead.

Body - BAD idea; the seat mounting points are reinforced to keep the seat in the car in a crash.
