I just wanted to get your guys opinion on this. I'm working on my neighbors 87 Ford escort with a 1.9L engine. It has a starting problem. Motor turns over fine but it was taking several times before it would start. Now it won't start at all. I trouble shot it down to the fuel side. It gets spark but when it does not start it will not get a pulse from the fuel injector harness. I verified this with a noid light. It started a couple times for me when I was trouble shooting it. I was turning the motor over and the noid light lit up and that's when the car started. Ignition module has been changed. I'm pretty sure it's not a crank position sensor because the ignition module needs that signal to turn on the fuel pump. I have fuel pressure also. I feel it has some thing to do with the computer. I cannot find any diagrams anywhere to trace the problem down. From what I see the only thing left to check is the computer and associated wiring. Any advice will be appreciated.
