Crossover is halfway done, Downpipe is halfway done.

Plenty of room to route crossover around 4X4 driveshaft if it
was there too.

Other half of the crossover is done.
Just one more little piece. Would have finished but the mosquitoes were getting nuts.

Get the bottom half of the downpipe done tomorrow and tear it all
down to get welded and coated.

Thanks all,

and yep, it really is pretty simple to build a custom turbo kit with a $180 cut-off saw
a $300 mini-mig welder and some common sense.

yeh theres a supercharged yukon (the one that's suburban-sized tho) in my village that supposedly has 600HP ... i had to call bs on that. i went to school with the son of the owner. i did a little highway pull from 120km/h against him, and i pulled him slowly. so i doubt it was "600HP"

anyhoo, looks wicked man, gonna keep the offroad tires on it? would stun people even more if you did
keep us updated!

Yeah, keeping A/T tires.

600hp (flywheel) in a Yukon XL is very easy.
You have to remember his car weighs almost 6,000 lbs
600hp on 6,000lbs car is same as 250hp on 2,500lbs car.

The Trickflow twin screw s/c available for these trucks regularly put
down close to 450+rwhp. They basically have iron block LS2 engines with
a milder truck cam and little lower compression. Very easy to make big power.

Not much of a race starting 120 km/h. He's already out of gear and in overdrive.
Try racing him again from 40 km/h roll and see what happens.

You can boost any engine to about 8psi and be fine and
get a nice gain in hp.

Only thing I would wonder about is if the Toyota computer can be tuned for it.

Sure there are some Tundra forums ........
