Downpipe is pretty much done. Just 2 last connections to make underneath.
Try and figure how I want the wastegate mounted and routed tomorrow.

This pretty much finishes the hot-side fab work.
Just need to attach the wastegate pipe to the downpipe and
splice a mini-V-band on to it so I can get the DP in and out.

going to order (2) Tial 44mm wastegate outlet flanges to make a custom
mini-V-band. Should work like a charm.

Really wanted to mount the wastegate up by the turbo, but it was just
going to be too much extra work to get it in there.

Nothing but trouble.
If you can keep the turbo high and in the engine bay its the way to go.

You can make low mounts work, but people always seem to have oil feed
and return issues, and frankly turbos like to be hot so the closer to the engine
the better.

ok, shall take note of that. Im gonna ask some gm guys since how they seem to specialize in gm. ive looked at all the usual places for kits for my friends tundra but i havent found any. Im gonna have him join some tundra forums (i dont own a tundra so theres no reason for me to join) and see what he can dig up
