I am looking into purchasing the sequential tail lights for my 05 Mustang V6 Coupe, to help add a little style to it. I was wanting anyones feedback or experience with them. These are the ones I am looking into buying. Also I am wondering of any other upgrades I can do for style without breaking the bank.

Funny..these were the LAST things I was ever going to get, but I for one am glad I have them. They really DO look good, I've seen people behind me, point at them! LOL The 2010's now have them standard I believe.

It's hard because you and I don't SEE these things, but on the road...when you hit the brakes the brake lights now come on sequentially instead of just ON.

But most will be like I was...no big deal, waste of money. It depends on what look YOU want. I'm for it! : ) But I show my car so I even have all the chromed radio knobs and vent covers...LOL

Ya I test drove the 2010 over the weekend and saw that feature. Then one of my friends I work with said his cousin had put some on his 2008. I haven't seen his cousins, but found a couple YouTube videos and those looked awesome. My favorite feature is when you put the hazards on! Also, I was looking into getting tinted vinyls and also for the third brake light getting this decal. I think it looks awesome but have no seen it on a car or at night, so I don't know how it will show up. What is your favorite addon you put on your mustang? (with regards to the style)

I love my sequentials and like shar, see people pointing and staring at them all the time

Favorite interior mod was my push button start that I also got from AM. Beware though, it's a pain in the ass to install, but looks cool as hell imo

Favorite exterior thing I've done was the painted mirror covers and shorty antenna. The shorty is a MUST imo. I'll point this out to you now and in the morning you'll be like WTF. The stock antenna is monstrous. It goes higher than the hood. There, since I've shattered your perception of your giant antenna, you will now you be compelled to get the shorty antenna tomorrow

My favorites are getting put on next week. : )

Present day, I'd say my CDC Light Bar, Stripes for sure...sooooooo on to what I am doing next week:

Removing vinyl stripes
fill the license plate holes in bumper
Cervini's Chin Spoiler and Ducktail Wing
Painting Stripes a metallic Parchment under clearcoat
OEM Vista Blue side mirror covers
Trunk Strut Covers
New license plate bracket that does not bolt on to the bumper

oh and Silver Horse Racing triple chromed fuel door on back order....

I have waited 1.5 yrs to get this all together and get er done!

Some little dress ups you might want are Lloyds Floor mats! These things are so thick and plush I also have the trunk carpeted too-SWEET! I got those at

What else are you dreaming about doing? Kinda like the third light decal tho, but someone not on this forum, has an LED light that's all dotted..looks kinda cool but I need to see it first hand.

That was the first thing I purchased from AM!! I saw it and realized, why did Ford even put the HUUUGE antenna on there? I am looking into upgrading my exhaust on my V6 to give it a better sound. I was told Flowmaster A/T was one of the better ones to buy. I wouldn't want to put the push button start because I still have my warranty through Carmax and I don't them to put any fault on the install of that part. They are VERRRY picky on what forfeits their warranty. I actually just bought my car used last July and have only changed out the antenna so far. If you can find a link for the LED light that would be nice to try and find.

Make sure they don't void the warranty for the exhaust...seriously, those warranties will carefully look at anything that is not factory parts. read every line of your agreement.

I talked to Carmax and they said that they don't cover the exhaust on the warranty so it should be fine. So I hope that will be ok. Dual exhaust way better than single?

I would like to get sequentials for my 01 cobra soon. AMNick, do your kits on your site work w/ 01 Cobra's? I know the harnesses are different for 99/01 Cobra's compared to GT's

The sequentials will only work with the US Domestic Market harness and tail lights. They'll work on 2003-2004 Cobra's because they have the USDM tail-lights.

Unfortunately 1999-2001 the Cobra's had the export tail lights which have the separate amber turn signal, which means the car gets the export wiring harness too. This is cool because it makes the 99-01's stand out from other Mustangs...but bad news is no aftermarket tails or sequentials with this setup.

Ok I will go out to my garage RIGHT now and see if I can find that shorty and see if I can get mine off and put this one that will probably BREAK <,from what I've read> and then I will watch said antenna break and then have no radio in the car for traffic reports and will get stuck in a humungous traffic jam and take 3 hours to get home and then.....LMAO Thats why I didn't put it on yet,, cause everyone said they break in power wash car washes or the regular car wash.

I doubt that my Stang will have to go thro a car wash anymore, but I'm in a condo and I do use the quarter power wash places to do it myself. Our hose is a pain in the ass at home.

Well my antenna base paint is all coming off, but the antenna didn't budge. I cannot get the damn thing off. I'll ask my detailer tomorrow...we should be able to get that thing off
