So I was hanging with my good friend Baxter. Now I, Ron Burgundy, am the best damn news anchor in the area. My dog Baxter here is a kind, smart little buddy. I once came home from work after reporting the important news. I parked my pristine 1971 Cadillac convertible with white fuzzy interior and gold metallic paint on the exterior in the driveway and was welcomed by Baxter waiting inside the doorway.

He started barking at me but I had no idea what he was saying. I said "Baxter, you know I don't speak Spanish"; then he paused for a second and started barking again. This time I did understand him. He proceeded to tell me he pooped in the refrigerator and he ate the whole wheel of cheese. He asked if I was mad at him and I said "No, I'm not mad; Actually I'm impressed". I told him "why don't we go get our pajamas on and we'll hit the hay". We went to bed. Throughout the night I was awoken to a howling sound; thinking nothing of it I went back to bed.

The next morning I woke up and was ready for work, but Baxter wasn't in bed. He was lying in the corner sleeping, which was quite odd of him not sleeping with me . I walked out side and said "By the beard of Zeus! " Baxter pooped all over my Caddy; the paint was now a poop-cheese color & the seats were pooped on. The whole wheel of chese didn't agree with him. Instead of spending the insane amount of monopoly money I had saved up to get the car repainted; I just sold it to my co-worker who is the weather man, Brick Tamland, for $3.64. He seemed quite happy; ....him and his chocolate squirrel.

About a month ago, I was hanging out a Lowe's parking lot and I saw a 99 Dodge Stratus and some punk kids started yelling at me and my friends. So after they were trying to leave my friends Ryan, Chris and I took off after them. So Ryan gets in front of them and stops at a stop sign. Chris gets out of my car and Ryan gets out of his, Then i put my 02 Gt Stang in park, yes its an auto, I know. I see his reverse lights and he gives it gas. He did $4200 dollars of damages. His insurance tried to screw me with only $750 dollars, needless to say, I got it fixxed with paying nothing. He even got a ticket, ha!! -Trent-

Okay here is my story, funny but terrible.

I had ordered a Mach 1 hood for my S197 from Duraflex because I loved the look of a cowl/scooped hood. It had been 4 weeks until it finally arrived to my door. My problem was I had a car show in 2 days I was REALLY wanting to show the car at with the new hood. I immediately called a guy who could paint my hood for about $150 and have it back to me the next day. I took it over and gave him the information on the paint and he said he would have it done by the next day at noon. Well he was right and I got it put back on at 1pm, the day after I took it to him. I didn't look at the condition of the hood but it looked black, just like my car, and I quickly got it over to my buddy who takes pictures of cars with his models. Got the finished car over to his shop only 10 minutes after I got the hood back. Inside the studio were 2 gorgeous looking models waiting for the car, I was so excited. He got some pictures taken all around the car and then he wanted to have one of them sit on the hood, I had no problem with that! When she got up the pictures were all done. Now here comes the funny/terrible part. My friend forgot to put a SD card in his camera so absolutely no pictures were saved. To add onto that, one of the models noticed that the other girl had something on her butt, It was some of the fresh clear and black paint from my hood! She left a nice, huge butt imprint on the front of my hood, haha, this is not a lie. So now that all this has happened, I called my painter and took the hood back to him to redo the hood. When I got there all he said was "Do you mind if I take a picture of that? I want to keep a memory for myself later". I didn't care, but I thought you pervert. Got the hood back the next day, the day of the car show. I quickly got it back on and drove to the show. When the judges came by I saw them talking to each other and pointing at the spot where the butt mark was. "Did he not take the butt mark out", I thought. When the judges walked away I went to look at the spot where they were pointing. The painter had quickly tried to buff the mark out and re clear it, now there was a buff mark where the butt was and it was underneath a layer of clear. Why didn't I ever look at the hood when I got it back from the painter both times.

I am planning on having it re finished and painted before the spring shows.

“I purchased some Xenon Quarter Window Scoops from AM a few months back. After receiving the package in the mail, i rushed over to the paint shop (i will not post what shop, but let’s just say that they are a very HUGE business) to get them painted. After waiting a WEEK for them to get painted, they were finally done. I went to go pick the scoops up and i realized all the defects the paint had. There was orange peel, little chunks of black stuff (i don’t know what it is) dust, and best one yet, a FLY LEG! Yes, a fly leg. I talked to the manager to see if they would fix it and he said “We only cover if the paint matches or not” . For my loss, they matched.”

And thanks to everyone who shared their painted parts tales of woe. We look forward to hearing more positive stories as more of our pre-painted parts get out on the road where they belong.

Thanks man, trust me there is nothing more that i want than to be back home in the states right now. I can only eat noodles for so long lol. And Lacey, it's not very fun so far. i'm stuck in a hotel off base right now cause all of the billeting and dorms are full. i can't do anything at all cause all of the outlets are korean (go figure) so i can't do anything but watch korean t.v and sit on this damn computer.

damn that sucks!!! You're not missing anything here...we had mandatory fun today at the wing picnic...we had to be there until 2:30. Haha the wing king even left earlier than we got to. Well since you have the computer there's always american stuff to watch on there right?

I hope you adjust to Korea soon. One of my best, oldest friends spent a couple years stationed there, and he seemed to have a pretty good time, once the culture shock wore off.
