What would you choose for the monthly forum specials, if you were in charge of arranging them? Please keep suggestions reasonable (we can't give out free wheel and tire combos, sorry!) so we can consider them. I know what I think is a good deal, but I'd like to hear what kinds of deals you guys are interested in.

I'm surprised you guys don't have a way to mine your database - see what stuff gets bought at the same time, and what stuff gets put in the cart together and what of those cart loads gets taken out at the last minute.

Just as an example, if people are buying shifters, then looking at shift knobs but deciding to not buy the knob at the last minute, a deal on knobs purchased with a shifter might catch a bunch of those almost-sales.

I think suggested "first mods" packs would be a good idea. Like for a '96-'98 Cobra you could sell a shifter, sub-frame connectors, and set of FRPP 4.10s as a kit, or for a 5.0 it could be a CAI, catback, and some decent front brake pads (like Hawks).

Running package deals, like you do with your gears would be great. That is a great idea that you need to expand on. Headers and midpipes. Catback and intake. Subframe connectors and strut braces. Headlights and taillights. etc.

I would also think running group buys would be awesome. For example, start a thread on something like the 99-04 ultra smoke headlights (I want these so I am being selfish lol) and say the first 15 people in this thread will get a 25% discount. Do not make the sales until 15 have signed up and paid. Many I am sure would jump on stuff like that.

On a side note. You guys run an excellent company and have outstanding customer service. I will guarantee that as long as I am driving Mustangs I will be a customer of yours. Considering that I live <5 miles from Summit and and not far from Mustangs Unlimited, that is saying something. I am still a customer of theirs as well, but always look to you first.

Thanks for the positive feedback, we try really hard to make sure we have the best possible customer service out there. I know, because I used to work the phones.

I appreciate the ideas you guys put out there. I've gotten a lot of requests for package deals, so I'm going to talk to some folks and see if we can work something out. If you ever have an idea that you think would be great, PM me and let me know. The more feedback I have from the people that actually buy our parts, the better we can tailor what we carry and how we offer it.
