Smoked Fog Light Covers

Ok so the fog lights of my 09 Mustang w/ Pony Package somehow got cracked. Well one got cracked and the other one has an actual hole in it. The sides are intact but the other but in the middle it's smashed. So that being said the bulbs on both of them are completely fine and they work. That makes me not want to order the whole set of new lights, which in addition to it's cost, I'll have to go to some shop to get it installed for more money (I suck at DIY stuff).

So I came across the Mustang Pony Package Smoked Fog Light Covers on your website, and I am just wondering how exactly do they install? I understand that they prolly stick to the glass on the front, and I am pretty sure I should have enough of that on the broken side as well, since it's not completely gone from there. Are these tight enough to stay in there? Do they somehow fit between the chrome sides of it and stay in there fixed? And then I was thinking that might as well also get the smoked head light, tail light covers, the blackout panel at the back, to sorta make it match and stuff. Also saw pics and it looks good. About the smoked headlight cover how are they to install? And how do they effect the light? Do they dim them a lot or is it still enough light to be able to see clearly at night?

Thanks Guys.

Also I am unable to decide if the smoked look is a good way to go or those headlight splitter look? I know it's a matter of personal choice, but I am seeking for some opinions I suppose. Would the splitter still look good with the smoked fog lights or just for matching sake I should go all smoked? I deff. like the smoked cause of it's aggressiveness and I think it would probably stand out more than the splitters?

The smoked covers are meant to install over the existing fog light lens, comes with adhesive tape to hold in place. I wouldn't recommend using these if one of your lenses is smashed. Plus, you will still be able to see the imperfections through the smoked covers. Smoked covers are great if you are going for an aggressve look. Smoked covers will dim the lighting though.

As has been previously stated about (thanks, NASTY03GT) the smoked covers install over your current lenses. You'll be able to see the damaged lenses through them pretty clearly, and they may not be watertight.

The headlight covers may dim your headlights a lot, or they may just block a little light. Largely, that will depend on how bright your headlights are. Personally, I like the blacked-out effect you get with smoked lights. Headlight splitters look pretty cool, too, but they give you a different style.

I already ordered the smoked fog light covers. I kinda figured they would fit right on top of the lenses and stuff. The one that is smashed is only smashed in the middle but the sides of the glass are still intact. So I figured I'd be able to stick the adhesives of the cover on those part as they are most likely on a side anyway. The middle part prolly doesn't stick anywhere to begin with and sides are still there. The other light just has a crack so that shouldn't be a problem.

Although about the water problem, if it can go in, can't it just as easily come it? And once you apply the fog light covers, can't they be taken out to clean and stuff and put back on?

Also I was wondering about the website, after I ordered I didn't get any email confirmation at all? And on the website there is no section where I can log into my account and check the status of my order and such?
