Discussing SCT Cigarette Lighter Bezel in the American Muscle Forum. Someone from AM.com chime in please.... i got part number 18201. Im installing it ...

SCT Cigarette Lighter Bezel

Someone from AM.com chime in please.... i got part number 18201. Im installing it at work right now and there is no damn way it fits in the cigarlighter hole. Says no modifying youre existing hole. But thats crap.

I have called the tech line 4 times now and i have a headache, i havent gotten through once.

So i see Am.com is useless when it comes to replys. Not to worry, i modified my piece so that it would fit. I had to use a dremel. But it works..

Now STOP saying it fits 94-04. It fits 99-04. THATS IT!!!!!!!!

Wow. Uh, sorry? I was out of the office yesterday and didn't get this until right now. Monday's are generally busy days for us, and I'm sorry you weren't able to get through. Email usually works too...

We've sold too many of these to count, and have never had anyone tell us that it doesn't fit the 94-98...I'm sorry you had so much trouble.

Thanks for the reply. But the hole in the 94-98's are not the same size. My dad has a 97 Cobra and i tried it in his as well and no good. The 99+ have a perfect size and the switch was designed for them. I had to use a dremel on it and cut out quite a bit and had to get it perfectly to fit. Can you look up youre P.O's and see who with a 94-98 actually bought this item besides me. Then shoot them an email and ask them how there product is.

If I find some time I will definitely do that. I'm sorry you had such trouble with it.
