American Muscle? Seriously, Come on...

Ordered a clutch Thursday, told me it was discontinued and I was like okay thats cool, switch it to a different clutch. Well dipshit needless to say canceled the order without my okay on it, Great. First I asked why the hell is the clutch on the website if its discontinued second I said I have to have another clutch by this weekend. Now its Monday and I'm STILL waiting on my money to show up in my account. Not very pleased with American Muscle this time, will defiantly be the last time I deal with them. Especially when my daily driver is now sitting in the driveway! :mad

It usually takes 3-5 days to get your money back and show up on your bank statement.

+1, AM is known that it does take a little while for the credit to show up. there was a guy here just a month or two back that was ranting and raving that this same thing happened. once he actually realized what was going on it was okay.

IT WILL BE OKAY!

I'm really sorry that you didn't have a good experience with this order. It's possible your browser was using a cached version of the website, which is why the part was listed as being available. If that's not the case, I'm not sure why the part would be listed on the site, but discontinued. Please send me your order info, I'll take a look to figure out whether the issue is with the site or our inventory so we can sort it out to make sure it doesn't happen again.

When we found out that the clutch was discontinued, we had to cancel the order so we could refund you for the cost of the part. When we process a return or cancellation, we generally refund the money from our end while we're on the phone with you or immediately afterward if there's a problem with the order and a supervisor needs to handle something. Once we refund you, your bank can take anywhere from 5-10 business days, depending on which bank you use, to actually put the money back in your account. It's definitely frustrating, but it's not something we have any control over. Believe me, if we could get people's money back to them faster, we would. I'm sorry that you had a bad experience with this order, we really do take our customers' satisfaction seriously. Please let me know if you have any other concerns or questions that I didn't address here or if there's any way we can still make this right for you.

Just another reason I order from AM, they will make it right.

On the refund, I have Bank of America and they take their sweet ass time refunding my money but will take it out in a heartbeat if I happen to overdraw

seems to be a lot more common these days. I guess AM is like wal-mart auto center of car part websites.

i love AM. when i was home on leave i ordered new black acorn lugnuts. told them i needed them in a hurry. i live within there radius for same day shipping. i had them within 24 hours. i have ordered many items from them and although some of there stuff is higher priced than other websites, i still order because you cant beat the customer service

its NOT AM;s fault bro...its your bank on their end! i have been dealing with AM for very many years now (before they were even called American Muscle ) and have had zero issues with them. they have a qualitative/informed staff that will actually take the time to help you out and give you as much info if not more than your looking for. Dont let this one bad situation (thats not even in their control) ruin you from ordering from what i believe is the best mustang website ever.
