Going twins now with the plans to upgrade power over time. Figure this way I wont have to replace them later and can just change the settings. I'm basically just moving money around at this point though. Instead of getting wheels/tires, CAI and tune right away I will just get the turbo setup and those will cover at least half of it. The couple extra MPG while cruising is always nice too haha.

remember one thing tho.. the 2014 might make you want to trade the 2011 gt. that one of the reasons that i dont want to spend to much money on this car. The power of the 2014 cant be much more than what we have now but i hear that it will be smaller and lighter. im pretty sure that i will trade this one for a 2014 or 2015 gt.

The plan for me is drive this car till it's dead, it will be a track/DD car for when I'm not deployed. I know they have the redesign coming up, but I absolutely love this body style and can always lighten it up if need be. I'm already looking at some fiberglass amd cabon fiber peices as well as a rear seat delete to take some weight off as it is.

I'd bet on the only thing changing much in the next 5years will be going to direct injection and possibly some manual trans changes. As it is now with the 11+ I'm sure ford can get away with just some small cosmetic changes for new model years and 50th anniversary badging in 2014 and not worry about sales. I doubt there will be anything nearly as close to what they did to the 10' owners.

I never try to look ahead unless it's truly listed as being in the works. I was thinking the more strict MPG regulations kick in about then? Could have a definite damper on this whole current muscle car era.

I already know what my next car will be.. the 2014 Gt500. It will have the new 620hp engine along with the new body style Unless what Coyote said comes true, then Ill stick with a 2013 GT500

Looks like I let this get away a little bit.

It was a 2.2L ecotec, those familiar with the GM 4 cylinder world know what I'm talking about. Basically super thin top ring lands designed for fuel economy don't fair too well when you shove 150 down it's throat. Yup my fault, that's why I said I overdosed the motors and didn't say nitrous blew them. It could have taken the 75 that I started with quite well. The reason I put easy in quotes was not meant as a slam or insult and I've been considering it quite heavily actually. Especially with what I've found another company doing with these cams already. The thought of nitrous has become quite a real one. I originally wanted boost, only because everything I've done has been boosted...because it had to be. Naturally aspirated 4 cylinders just aren't fun. This particular v8...I'm loving the hell out of it. I've pretty much scrapped every plan I had prior to these cams being released. Originally it was going to be a pro charged setup of some variation. I'm now leaning towards n/a with just enough juice to push me into the 10 second arena. I've been extremely impressed with certain things that have transpired since my last post in this particular thread. My first trip to the dragstrip being the biggest one. I was able to pull off a 12.3 with my STOCK shocks not being able to keep me planted rearward and the car looked like a seesaw on a couple passes. I'm fairly certain 11 second passes are possible if I can correct that issue and my piss poor driving. Considering the only modifications I've got to add power is the boss manifold and a tune, I'm very impressed.

Fallout you mention 450rwp...that's around where these cams were making on initial testing from what I saw. It's only going to be a matter of time before a set of 3's find their way to my lil dog...looks like someone is in the market for some lth's and an x-pipe...
