Few questions about my bama tunes

Okay so ive had my SCT tuner for about 5 months now and i absolutly love it! It doesnt feel like the same car! I do have some questions though!
Okay so what is the real difference between the 87 street and 93 race tunes? I know the race tune obviously is faster but is it worth keeping that tune in my car, its what im currently using. Whats the difference in MPG from the street/race tune?
Also for everyday driving which tune is the best for performance(off the line and driving at say 50 and punching it) and MPG, street right?
And would i see a difference if i switched my 87 street tune to 93 street tune?
Sorry for all the questions i just wanted to clarify some things
No rush on the response, i know you guys are busy

Here are the basic differences:

* Street (87-93 octane) - the street tune is designed as a daily driver program that focuses in on increasing mid-range power. It does give up a few HP at higher RPMs, but that's why there is a Performance file. Automatic vehicles are further enhanced by making adjustments to the transmission's shift points and firmness.
* Performance (87-93 octane) - The Performance program is designed to add power at 3000 RPMs and higher, focusing more on the top end horsepower and all out performance driving. Timing, fuel and throttle response settings are slightly more aggressive than the street tune. This is a great track tune but also works well for daily drivers that are looking for a little more "get up and go" than the street tune. The automatic transmission settings are the same as in the street tune.
* Race (91 - 93 octane) - The race tune will ensure the largest increase in vehicle performance. Using the highest grade of fuel available in your area is mandatory. This file is designed for "Race only Use" as the timing, fuel, and throttle response settings are very aggressive. In fact, the adjustments are so aggressive, that we do not recommend it for daily driving as it may cause your vehicle to try to jump out from a stop and easily spin the tires. Finally, with the automatics, we implement entirely new shift points and firmness settings to further enhance the all-out performance of the vehicle.

As for the MPG stuff, that is really up to you as the driver. If you drive the street tune to achieve the best MPG, that would be the best tune for MPGs. However, you could get the same MPG by driving the race tune easily and beating on the car in the street tune. Basically, if you drive for MPG and want the best MPG, yes, use the street tune to get achieve it.

As for what is best for you and your car, that will also be up to you.

I personally like the race tunes the most and am willing to sacrifice the maybe 1-3mpg in using the race tune the way it was meant to be driven, rather than using the street tune. The race tune to me just has the best response(throttle and shifting in autos) and feels the most lively/fun. But then again, that is my personal opinion, you might like something totally different.

My advice would be to try all three(street, performance, race) in the same octane and see which one you like the most and which one is right for you. That's what is great about having the different tunes, is that each individual user can cater to what they want out of the car.

I hope this helps!

Good luck!
