Steeda Tri-ax shifter
Hey, ordered a short shifter for my buddies 01 Roush GT. I ordered the one for the tr3650 trans (mid 01-04). After following all the instructions the ball kept popping out of the socket/plastic cup. Wondering if you guys have ever heard of this problem...

Hey, Dolbs! Thanks for the inquiry!
Sorry to hear that you're having troubles with the Tri-ax shifter. They're normally extremely well-built/reliable and honestly, I can't say that I've heard of that happening with the correct shifter/transmission combo. Did you check the part numbers on the box of the shifter to confirm it was for the TR-3650? Did you make sure the shift lever was seated in the seat (the ball is in the socket) completely? Does it pull up vertically or just when you apply for-aft pressure to it? Shoot me a PM with your order number and I can look further into it for you.
