Unfortunately the discount code is only for active members of the forum with accounts in good standing. An exception would be if you have a low post count but joined at least several months ago, or if your account is young but has a lot of on-topic posts, then you could also get the code. But a brand new account with 1 post and that 1 post is asking for the code, we unfortunately can't do as it would go against the purpose of the code being exclusive to active forum members here. Otherwise just anybody could sign up and ask for it.

Hey AMnick, I attempted to PM for the coupon code but couldn't. Before any bashers start talking about posts counts, i've been a member for a few years, just not active for the last due to military oblibations; and appartently when the board changed sites my post count got reset as did my avatar and sig.

it's because for the simple reason that if members here start giving it out to every tom, dick and harry that comes on the site, WE LOSE the code.

they stop giving us a discount. easy enough???

It is only silly if you don't understand how the discount code works, or the purpose of the discount code in the first place. The discount code is a perk for Active ModdedMustangs.com Forums Members that we offer as a sponsor of this forum. Forums are nothing without their members, so it is more of an enticement to retain active members here, then any sort of sales pitch for us.

The people here that get the discount code would shop with us whether we have the discount code or not because they know we already have rock bottom pricing coupled with the best customer service around plus services such as Free Shipping, Free Mounting & Balancing, Free Tunes, etc. Oh yeah...and they have yours truly here to give a hard time to whenever they want!

The reason we do not permit the code to be shared, publicly posted, or given out to people that only join to get the coupon, is that would take away from the whole point of the coupon being exclusive and special. We've had instances in the past where codes got publicly posted and spread like wildfire to non-forum members, which we then had to disable the codes. Obviously we don't want to have to do that, because we are all around cool dudes.

So to make a long story short, if you are here to join the forum and be a active member, I grant the code. If you are here to just waste MM's server space with a user account that is created only to get the code, then I do not grant the code. And the only way to get the code is to PM me!

my buddy and i just ordered a bunch of stuff from am, diablo predator tuner, shorty headers (for his 02), short throw shifter (for his), bbk intake (for his), dummy o2 sensors that are on back order (for both), stainless steel offroad x-pipe (for his), some dress up peices (for me). the only thing that didnt come in was the dummy o2 sensors. just wanted to say the site rocks!!!!
