I've been thinking about a 45xdm For 460 Rowland or 45 super. I don't think anybody makes a recoil spring heavy enough that would fit a cc tungsten guide rod, leaving the 1911 recoil spring conversion the only option. I'm not sure if the cc tungsten guide rod for the 40 will fit in the 45 either. I don't mind solving puzzles related to modifying a firearm, I've learnes theres a difference between puzzles and obsticles now...

As I said in the other thread, my dad has that gun and I absolutely love shooting it. Smooth trigger, easy to break apart for cleaning, looks good, and feels good to hold. Hope you like it as well as I do.

Well I put 50 rounds through it and I can admit that I had new gun jitters.

We set up an eight inch Birchwood shoot-n-c target on a standard silhouette target center-mass. We placed it out around 13-14 yards and my shots kept landing low and left of the shoot-n-c target. Near the end of my box I started to get a handle on it and placed 7 shots right in centermass with about a 3.5 inch spread.

Not the greatest I've ever shot but I wasn't expecting much since its a new gun and all.

Thanks everyone I'm really happy with my purchase and now I might be convincing my dad to get one instead of the Beretta PX4 Storm like he has been looking at.

I've got the stainless in .40. Every xdm I've shot, including mine, eat ammo! Have fun and rock that!

Nice BTW.
