there 400 watts each but they will handle more, ive seen ppl with over 1k watts on a set but i never put more than 600 into them.1000 watt class d will work ,something like a hifonics

Great subs. I have some Comp VR's in my car. Not this year model but they are the same. I am pushing 500 watts RMS to each, totaling 1000watts RMS for over a year and they still pound HARD.

I got a refurbished Alpine digital amp to push them. This is a great deal or some great subs. If I had the room, I would buy them and another amp... 2000watts anyone?

Box I built and installed in my 02 GT with mach 460
3x rockford p3 10s wired to 2.6ohms running of a bridged p8002 amp pushing out 800 watts rms to the 3 beasts ........ and look at all the trunk space

You might want some dynamat and also get some double sided stick tape the good 3m stuff and tape your license plate against the car so it doesnt rattle but if you have enough bass your spoiler will flex/vibrate up and down as well .... also you will want to make sure your box has open space on either side of it and is not pushed right up against your back seats so that you can fold down the rear seats and allow the air/sound to make good use of the entire car
