Decent sub and amp?

I'm looking to get 2 12" subs for my car, i was looking at some JL 12W3v3's but the RMS doesnt look too impressive and im not sure which amp would power two of them. Most shit is underrated and i don't want to put it all in to find out it wont work. Opinions? Thanks

dude go with JLAudio although it may say the rms is low, those speakers overpower most speakers on the market

most people buy a 2 channel and bridge it to 1 channel for the subs anyways so its just better to get a mono they are built for the stress and different amps put out different power at 8 4 2 1 and 1/2 ohm loads most amps are comfortable with 4 or 2 ohms so you are best to get dual 4 ohm subwoofers as you can leave them at 4 ohm for less stress on the amp or bridge them down to 2 ohms to get some more kick you take a dual 4ohm subwoofer and take a length of wire and run it from one coils positve to the others negative and then have one set of speaker wires going fom the amp to the sub connecting the remainging positive and negative to bring it down to 2ohms hope that helps a little

what about this setup? cheap and looks like it could work

Performance Teknique ICBM-5712DX 12" (icbm5712dx) , Component Subwoofers, 12" Component Subwoofers - Sonic Electronix
Power Acoustik OV2-2600 (ov22600) , Car Amplifiers, 2-Channel Amps - Sonic Electronix

the subs i will get, the amp i just picked one out in a minute to give an idea. Would it be better to get a dual amp or 2 mono's? I hear of people with monos that blow their subs quickly
