warranty


do u guys normally get warranty on ur nav products cause i just ordered a pioneer avic n3..... and i got 1 year warranty but he said i could get 3 year warranty for 30 dollars more.... do i even need warranty???

i didnt want to get warranty in the first place but the guy was like atleast get one year to back it up.... which i thought woul be safe incase it was a bad batch of them or somethin. it cost 100 for 1 year

I work at best buy and I tell you before I worked there I didnt believe in the extended warranties either, but as an installer i see so many people come back b/c they thought that they got the best brand on the market but then it broke 1 month after the one year manuf. warranty and then they were assed out. The way that most companies do it is that within 3 years if it breaks they will replace it or repair it and if they dont have that model anymore they will give you the equivelant or even give you how much you paid towards a newer one. But its pretty much a give or take thing.
