93 LX door switches

Hey there. I think I posted this in the wrong thread, so here it is properly posted. The power door switches in my LX, hardtop, are shot. I haven't had luck finding a pair of them for this car. I was thinking of using some momentary push button switches from the local hardware store to rig up a pair of temporary switches till I found the proper hardware. Would this be ok or is there some hidden problem with wiring the switches this way? Any help would be great. Thanks.

You need "actuators", which are all over the place. You can also get them at your local Ford dealership oe even Ebay.
You may as well get the right parts now instead of having to un-do the "rig job" you want to do later.

I have actuators. I just need the door switches for both doors.

Oh.....I would look around for cars being parted out or go to the dealership or salvage yards.
