Mach 460 Head Unit wont turn on

my mach 460 cd player wont turn on when i turn on the car it only turns on to eject or load a cd its acting like the car is off. what is the problem and how do i fix it

Yeah the Mach 6 Disc. unit sucks ass. Mine started by doing that. Then it ate the cd's and took a poo. So I gave it the finger and bought a nice double din touch screen.

If you have the money and/or are willing to spend it then yes. If you can deal w/o a radio then let it alone

But I can't deal w/o a radio/music/mp3 or something...

yeah i just got done installing my amp and stuff from my old car so i got to turn it on and it doesnt work so i think im going to just get new speakers and use my phone as my head unit - rcas from my phone to the amp

Sounds like you disconnected something check your wiring over. Did you just add a sub?

yeah if you were intalling something and then now its not powering up it sounds like you either left something unplugged or got a wire pinched in the process.

Lefty is right though, the 6 disc changers are POS I was replacing them in cars at least 6 times a week if not more.

it was the radio fuse #32 replaced it now all is fine

sounds good, did you figure out why it blew out? if not I would check to make sure that you have no wires being pinched or else it will happen again and again.

yeah when installing my shift light i let the power and ground hit the cd player so it made the fuse blow
