Kenwood Head Unit and Shaker 500 System
Hey guys. I have a Kenwood Nav/DVD/Bluetooth unit installed in my 07 with the Shaker 500 and it sounds awesome. One problem I have are the woofers don't seem to be balanced. The driver sub pounds and the passenger side is about half the output. The car has the matching Metra harnesses and the amp harness. I see some posts on forums that some guys only use the white RCA jack of the deck preout and run a Y cable off of it. Can anyone chime in as to the reason for this, or if this is the problem I am experiencing? Currently the deck is wired red to red and white to white, but I'm wondering if the subs are running in stereo mode doing it this way with the Ford Amp which is causing my balance issue.
