97 GT aftermarket deck install

kahjfksahd;lahdsj;lf Thats how I feel right now. Im sick of it want to throw it out the window. Yes I searched first. My problem is there are so many gd wires in the effin thing, I cant figure out what to do. I have the mach 460 system (at least I have an amp so I think thats what it means). there was an aftermarket deck in here at one point, so I dont know what im doing wrong. Wired up the harness that is gray, long, 6 pins I believe, plugs into the other gray one. Then I have a black one, with the colors of the speaker wires, already wired into the speaker wires coming from the amp, but not plugged into anything. Only thing I see it can plug into left is a black female end (again, these are long, identical to the gray one in size). then, I have 4 RCA wires, and an amp remote wire. I wired the amp remote into the blue amp turn on that is connected to the deck and blue wire on the gray harness. I plugged the RCAs in, and I assumed the black male end with the speaker wires attached plugs into the black female end. Still, no sound whatsoever. what am I doing wrong please?

Yeah I have a 98 and installed a Kenwood and went on crutchfield and had to buy the aftermarket adapter kit I had to strip the RCA ends on either the black plug or my stero I can't really remember but ya I had the same frustration don't feel bad I spend an extra day on it also. My only problem is now my stereo floats in the space I have a holding kit from crutchfield and its great I just need to figure out how to put a trim piece around it connecting to the black bezel around my whole center console.
