ipod adapter

i got one last night..its pac apple pioneer ipod adpater pbus or some shit...but it was a red power wire and a black ground... which wire do i splice to get power for?? and the ground i have just soder to the bare metal??

ugh not sure what you have and what you are doing, but if you have an aftermarket head unit just use the power from the harness the yellow wire is constant 12 volt, the red is switched power for when you turn the key on, and there should be a black ground wire just tap into those, i wouldnt solder to bare metal for the ground
