Opinions on a new deck.

alright cause you are gonna need a relay for it that I can show you how to hook up later. just PM me.

do not try to wire these up while you have the best buy harness plugged into the car.

1) all the wires on both harness's you are gonna match color for color, IE... yellow to yellow, red to red, black to black.

there will be a couple of wire that are gonna be left over on both harness's.
ford harness

Main harness- Black/White (not needed)
Orange (illumination) not needed as it already has internal illumination
Orange/black (dimmer) up to you if you want to hook this up

Pioneer harness- Violet/White- Reverse speed signal (needed only if you have navi which you dont)

on the secondary ford harness with the rca's you will need to hook up the 2 Blue/White wire (amp turn on) to your Blue/white wire from your pioneer harness. also there will be 2 Black/white wires that you need to hook up the the Black wire from the ford harness (those wires are your amp ground). then you will hook the rca's to your sub output as mentioned.

so when im doing this the black part will go into the HU and then do i have to cut into the wire thats already there and splice these ones on the harness?

the deck all you have to do is to slide the cage out and fit it into the dash kit that you baught and lock it down with the taps that it has. if it didnt come with the cage then you will take the screws that were supplied with the deck and "ISO Mount" it to the dash kit.

If you are ISO mounting it then you will have to use the pieces that the dash kit came with that have screw holes on it that will attach to the sides of your dash kit. place the H/U into the dash kit to your liking, match up the holes from the dash kit to the holes on the side of your H/U, screw it down and your good to go.

it will be easier for you if you were just to take the Blue/White wires (should be 3) and the Black/White and Black wires (4) and just tie them into each other so that you dont have to splice. Get what im saying?

so you will connect the blu/whites from both ford harness's to the Blue/White on the pioneer harness.
Then you will connect the Black and the 2 Black/white wires to the Black wire on the pioneer harness.

dude this shit aint right i think hold on im gonna post another pic...the one with the rcas has 2 blue wires and 2 black...the large black harness with orange yellow green purple white grey pink ...and the other smaller black one only has 1 blue and thats the 'system remote control' wire?
