So my stock piece of crap deck jammed and I'm getting a new one. I'd like to hear opinions on what to get. So far, I was recommended this:
Alpine CDA-105 CD receiver at Crutchfield.com
it looks nice but i just want to make sure i get the best one for my money. As of right now, i don't want any fancy touch screen or double din, just one like that alpine. if there is a fantastic double din touch screen i'll consider it tho.

yo we went over this why do you want a single din? because of the price? just save some money instead of spending half of what u can get a nice double din for and then being stuck with that wack ass alpine cd player

it is not hard at all to wire up and install a double din unit. just have to get the right parts and I can walk you through it. Ive walked alot of people on here through wiring their cars up with or without the 460. There is a specific dash kit (double din) and a specific harness with or without the 460. save yourself some money and do it yourself, Trust me on this it is really easy!!!

I understand. I can walk you through on how to take apart you dash, how to wire it up, anything. I used to work at Best Buy for 4 years as their Autotech Lead/Supervisor. MECP master certified I just need to know if your car is 460 or not. just get the parts from them and i can walk you through it.

i have eveything brackets harness' and all and yes i have the 460 and as of right now the only thing thats off is the bezel

so you have either the metra or schosche double din ford dash kit and the metra harness for the 460 which comes with one black plug and then another plug that has RCA's attached to it?

yeah you got it, the white plug has male RCA's on the end of it which will go into your SUB OUT as these are gonna send signal to your amps for the 460
