VSS and Reverse Wire location

I'm installing avic-90bt into my 02 gt. The thing requires a speed sensor connection as well as a reverse light wire tapping. Can anyone tell me how to get to those? Can i get to them through the shifter whole without getting under the car? Thanks!

the speed sensor is on the transmission itself.
granted.. you have a 4.6.. but you get the idea.

here you go

Speed Sense WHITE/ORANGE (AC) IN HARNESS IN PASSENGER KICKPANEL

make sure to test this wire before you go tapping into it. take your digital multi-meter and probe it and put the other lead to ground. what will happen as you start to gain speed is that the #'s will start to increase.

sweet.....the harness that comes out of the tranny...its right under the shifter boot right? and what color is the reverse sensor? I just don't want to lift the car up cuz its a bitch in my case....i live on the 3rd floor and carying the huge ass jack up and down the stairs sucks....thanks for the replies btw!
