sub box construction


i am building a sub box for my car and i want to drill the two holes for 12" subs. i am not getting the subs for another week but i want to finnish this box so i can just put the subs in and pound. i dont know how big to make the holes so the subs will fit in good. any body know the size of the holes for 12" subs?

11 and 3 quarters will be fine, but if u want the best fit wait until u get the subs beacuse they come with a cut out for making the specific subs fit perfect... IE more beat.

MDF is the best wood to use, and just wait till you get the sub that way you can get the best possible seal on it.
