Best Double Din For the $$$

So my stock head unit on my 350z is looking a little used, abused, and un-loved. I'm looking at aftermarket stereos, specifically double dins because my stock head unit takes up that much space. I'd have to say I'm very disappointed in the double din's that don't do dvd/navi (aka the affordable ones). Very "blah" and cheesy looking. I didn't want to have to spend $500-$800 on a navi head unit, but it looks like I'm going to have to go that route if I want a decent replacement for my stock radio. FYI I have the non-bose stock head unit.

Here's what's most important to me:

-iPod Connectivity

-HD Radio

-Serius/XM (ya never know what the future holds)

What do you guys think?

Personally, I'd look at the Pioneer AVH-P4100DVD or AVH-P3100DVD. Love my AVH-P4000DVD, even tho it is considerably more plain (in screen layout) than the above newer models.

That's more of what I'm looking for. I see places selling it for $330. Not sure if I'd trust em. Looks like I'd have to get the satellite radio and HD tuner for it if I got that one.

yeah, you can't go wrong with pioneer. kenwood used to make some decent stuff as far as navi/dvd and all that jazz. but i've been out of the business for a few years. so i don't really know what they have. and, as i'm sure you've heard, you're going to get what you pay for. especially with mobile audio/video components.

yeah they have come a long way, still not up to what they used to be back then as far as EQ's and such but they are still up there. They also bought out JVC so now JVC products are just kenwoods with the JVC name and thats it
