Having problem with JL Sub Need Help, Please

Well, It's hooked up to Alpine DVD/Nav deck. Amp is a Total mobile 300w and the sub is a 12"? JL sub. I bought the car about a month ago and it was working fine until sometimes it started to cut out. I either had to shut the alpine deck off then turn it back on or shut the car off and turn the car back on but now it doesn't work at all. I swear when i first turn the car on in the morning, I swear i can hear it bump once maybe but not for sure. Does anybody know what it could be, how i could fix it or how to go about narrowing what it could be such as the sub, amp, wiring, or deck

Is your amp powering up? Check your ground wire.

check all the connections, esp on the amp, also the internals of the amp could be going out, ive never heard of total mobile before might not be known for reliability but who knows

I've already checked the connections on the amp and they all look good. I've never heard of total mobile before i bought this car either and it does kinda seem cheap.

yeah upgrade your wiring, not just power but the ground as well. if you want to what you can do is to use that 10 gauge power wire and use it as speaker wire to your subs and amp as this is what I did
