Help replacing speaker


Hi, i have recently purchused a 2002 mustang 3.8L and have found the upper speaker on the driverside door dose not work, it has been going in and out depending each time i hit a bump and need to know how to take the cover off and take a look at it. Any help on howing to get off the speaker cover without breaking it would be cool, thxs

you are talking about the tweeter right?if so the cover just pops offs,prob a loose connection somewhere or 1 of the tinsels are broke and barley touching.this thread will prob be moved also lol

its easy if you get a flat head screwdriver and place it behind the grille of the speaker cover and lightly pry it out... like 00redgt said its probably a loose connection
