Audio issues
1. I need to know how to replace my upper corner driver door speaker , its a Mach speaker. I think its blown
2. I get a beeping sound and my head unit says audio failure, i notice the beep is comming from one of my back speaker which is also a Mach. Whats the deal with this, it goes away after a few seconds but is still anoying |

the grill on it pops off just be careful with it and then unscrew and unplug the speaker.
If it is saying audio failure you may have a blown speaker or a bad amp that is backfeeding into the radio causing that beeping sound. If you want to test to see if you have a bad speaker you can hold down the # 3 and # 6 button at the same time and it will put the mach system into an audio test mode. You will hear a series of pops from each individual speaker so that you will be able to tell if one is blown or not. It will test the highs/mids first (those are the ones in the sail panel above each door and then there are 2 more in the rear deck) then it will pop all the subs at one time.

i dont have the orginal head unit, i have an aftermarket sony one

if you have a reputable stereo shop around you, most of the time they wont charge you to just take your car in to check it and see what might be wrong with it. then if anything is blown, while your there pick up some new speaks!!

alright, if you have an aftermarket and it displays audio failure then you definetly have a blown speaker somewhere.
