retaining actual milage during a cluster swap

with the fear of the steelership high costs in mind is there any way to delete the theft system on a 2000 mustang on an earlier post i mentioned that i dropped my cluster and broke it putting white faced gauges so i threw it out and bought another one on ebay not knowing u needed it to make the car run ,,now i have a new one with more milage on it will the dealer leave that milage or change it for me to what mine was

take it to a dealer they will hook yah up basically the only way to reset the passive anti theft system and for them to tell the cluster to sync the millage with the pcm

the ecu/pcm stores your miles on it..Ford will reset it back to that no matter what the cluster says
