05+radio
I am looking to remove my stock radio out of my 06 mustang. it is not the shaker system, it is just the single dish. There are no holes for keys, I am not quite sure how to remove the dash around the radio.
anyone know how, or an article on it or anything? |

remove the shift plate and it goes up from there.

In order to get the radio out I gotta start taking the shift plate off. and go from there. there is not a more simple way to do it?

it is not as hard as you are making it seem. Just pry up on the shiftter bezel.

THIS sucks!!!
I took the console peice up, and removed everything for the dash, and finally got the stereo out to find out that there are no RCA outs on it!!!!! LOL I was looking to install an amp, well now with that, I am sunk. I guess instead of RCA, I will just use the speaker terminals. I want the stock radio so it does not get broken into. My last car got smashed into 4 times. Im keeping this deck stock!!! Any sugggestions. does any of the shakers have RCA outs? if so is anyone selling a 05+ shaker deck? |

go talk to an actual stereo shop they should have a piece you can buy that will hook up to the stock radio so you can use rca's. that's what they were going to do with mine. think it was going to be like 50 bucks. of course mine is the shaker 500 so it might be different.
