What are they? Also, what you got hiding back there (system wise)?

I can tell you've read up on car audio. All the products you've been mentioning are all "newer" equipment. All has gotten good reviews. Have you heard any Exile gear?

Never heard of Exile. I have two 8" RE Audio subs in some small sealed enclosures behind my seats, running off of 700w RMS rockford fosgate 700S (Old school amp). I wanted to keep my trunk (plus I have a vert so it's smaller already) and since no one uses the back seats except the baby, I don't have to worry about leg room.

In the future I hope to remove the backseat, but that's just wishful thinking right now.

I also have a 12" Type R from 2003 (Before the surround was re-done), and a Virtual Technologies (whoa!) Riphammer Sub in a V.T. custom ported enclosure, just sitting around the house from past vehicles. They were fun toys for what little power I gave them (480w or 700w).

Exile is an up and coming brand. They've done a few vehicles for the show "Overhaulin". It's quality stuff, all overbuilt. There equip. is getting good reviews. They also make some great shallow mount subs a 10" and then later this spring a new 12" shallow mount. You may look into that if you ever decide to go in the trunk. Actually the 12" XP (Exile's top of the line sub) only requires 1.1 cu. ft.^3 for an enclosure. And that sub rocks.

I'll check them out. I don't ever plan on having a trunk system though. If the day ever comes that allows me to remove my backseat I'll be building small wall setup there that will be hidden under a tonneau cover and can be easily removed on track days.
