stock stereo install
hey everyone i have the mach 460 system in my 94 gt i was wondering it came with only am/fm/cass it has a little storage thing under the hu where the stock cd should be. is it possible to get the stock cd player and mount it where it supposed to go under the hu and plug it in or do i have to go aftermarket and also how do u remove that little storge thingy where the cd should be

Yes its possible to add a stock cd player but youre going to pay out the ying yang if you buy a new stock unit. My bro in laws 00 model was exactly as yours is and he deciced to go with an afermarket head unit. the install was easy and cost a fraction of what a stock cd player would have.

my g/f's bro has a 95 with a new hu but he has the old cd player so he is gonna trade my for the storage thing

Make sure you get the wiring harness that goes with the cd player. If youve got the cd player and all necessary wiring and tools, it should take all of about 30 minutes to do.
