junk 460

does anyone know of a good company to buy a oem factory amp intergration harness from?im trying to junk my mach 460 piece of crap and i need to find an amp intergration so i can use an aftermarket stereo and still get the same sound from my speakers. otherwise i am going to have to rewire the whole setup(screw that).any suggestions?i know a pretty good amount about stereos i used to be an installer but never had this much problems with any stereo. the thing is an electrical wiring nightmare.the way it functions make no sense, and the design is extremely flawed.

there is a harness that integrates it but alot of people have mixed reviews on it, it is made by either Metra or Scosche you should be able to get it from any audio shop. At my shop we tend to tell the customer that the best way to do it is to rewire the whole thing. It does not involve actually rewiring the whole thing, persay, but it is a little bit of work. But since you used to install it shouldnt be that hard for you. If you are interested let me know and Ill give you detailed instructions on how to do it.

Mine sounds just fine with JVC headunit and dual 12" bandpass in the trunk ;')

course I had to rebuild the harness myself cuz the previous owner cut it thinking it was a standard amp setup .. even redrew the schematics too

but METRA sells just what you need .. or stop by your local radio shop for plug-n-play harness .. see also CRUTCHFIELD if you don't have local place

then you are gonna have to buy the harness for it. The way that we do it at work we get rid of the amps but since you still want to keep the system then that isnt gonna work.
