huh? wha'd ya say?
Ya won a few shows, got some trophies for DB drags. Hit a 150something DB at a show in Joplin MO a few summers back. I'll try to dig up the pics from when I was building the box and the install and stuff. (gonna have to dig thru the old computer) As well as some pics of project Ram. I'll make a post for it maybe this weekend if I have time. It's my new show off toy, video system + long road trip = not much back seat driving lol

Question;

Do you get any treble out of that? Do you have hidden tweeters? Or do those put out some?

I hear all of the cars driving around All I can hear is bass.... Sure their car shakes but it isn't music it is just a bunch of thumping for them.

I have MB Quartz Ref Series 6.5's in the doors and 1" tweeders mounted on the door post as well. It's not gonna win any sound quality awards but yes, you can hear the words to the songs over the bass.
For a sound quality ride, I have my ram, only got one 12 inch sub and all MB quart infinity series mids and highs. It sounds better then any movie theatre I've ever been in. Had it on display at the sterio shop for about a week. (I really need to get some pics of my system in the ram, maybe I'll have sometime this weekend

at the risk of sounding cynical, if the sound quality is only soso, whats the point in all that then? seems like overkill for an 'eh' sound quatlity...

The point of a sound drag is to get bass. A lot of it. Not sound quality.

With that many subs in the back you're going to get assloads of bass, with minimal mids/highs, which you don't need anyway.

I'm sure there's ways to tune the mids/highs to sound better, but the only way is to get more amps and put your smaller speakers on them. They'll sound crisp and clear.

Ranger = bass DB ride
Ram = sound quality ride, video, leather all around road trip mobile.
I have the best of both worlds
