I had posted a forum before about my alarm messing up my car, this is what happend. I thought the alarm fu*ked my wiring up and would shut the car off or not start, took it to Ford, said they fixed it. I had a new alarm that was replaced by DEI cause they thought it was the alarm. New Optima red top to go with it, and then..............same shit, WTF!!!

(was at the store and car would not start, called my dad that lives 1200 miles away. I always thought that my dad was joking when he would tell me that he could just listen to a car and know whats wrong with it)

My dad told me it could be anything, while on the phone he said "try to start it". (didnt start) Then he says "check your negative battery terminal". Let me tell you, even now I thinking WTF!!!! Turns out my cable had came loose and the wires werent tight and coming off the back end of the terminal. The terminal was tight on the battery, but the wires on the end were loose and coming off.

This is something I will never hear the end of from my dad and what a waste of money...........WTF!!!

that just means that the techs at ford and whoever you got the alarm installed at dont know what the hell they are doing.

true. the thing is though the cable would be on just enough to pass all the test they ran. it then came off all the way from road vibration. still goes to show that everyone is out to make money and rip your ass off.

exactly, before we start troubleshooting any car we check fusees, all grounds and all the easy stuff first. well, at least you got it fixed for free.

thats the best part, hahaha. DEI and installer payed for everything.
