custom sub box

hey everyone so the other day i wired up a 500 watt cadence amp and bought 2 jl 10's i have a 94 gt coupe with mach 460 does anybody know of some plans i could use to build a box with?

post some pics of ur trunk and i can draw up some plans... u can check out mine i made it myself, it works great and has the best sound for just one 12!!!

Check a JL dealer, JL might make a stealth box for your car!

Or just ask the local sterio shop if they have dimensions or something already made to fit. The shop here that I worked for, we actually built our own boxes for cameros and firebirds, because it was such a common box. There are always a few in the back of the shop collecting dust. Your local shop might have built a stang box. Gluck

you can buy some small independent boxes, cover the trunk floor with plywood and drill it in to stabalize it then drill your boxes to that then upholster it with any fabric you want

i had to 12's with relativly small boxes placed them across from each other close to the trunk door with a little bit of a stagger, flipped the subs and mounted the amp on the lip and covered the whole thing with short red shag with black highlights and it looks great...cheap and easy way to customize your system
