are the subs rated at 700 watts each? if so is that peak or continous? If the subs are 700 continous each co with at least a 1500 or 1600 watt amp and turn it down a bit. You will get better sound and better power by putting a bigger amp on and then turning it down a bit.

Depends on the box type, type of music you listen to,Car style(ie..hatch,trunk),brand of amp, type of wiring configuration, budget,so many factors but generally i would say for a ported box that is TUNED RIGHT between 500 and 800 watts RMS(not peak watts),sealed box from 600-1200watts RMS,and a bandpass box from 400-800watts RMS.Those numbers are based on the speakers bieng 700 watts rms.Numbers significantly drop if they are 700 watts peak.If you havent went and bought an amp and box already and want me to get specific as to what would be best for your car you can e-mail me at <hpjunkie302@netzero.net> And tell me the speakers brand and model number,Music type you listen to most often, box type you have(or if no box i could suggest which one would be better for your type of music and subs).By the way i have 4 years professional training and about 13 years of experience and am M.E.C.P certified(mobile electronics certified personal).
