ELECTRIC FUEL PRESSURE GUAGE

Has anyone ever used an electric fuel presure guage. I recently put an Autometer one in my car and the thing is all over the place. The needle jumps when it shouldnt, and sometimes it seems to get stuck and read high psi when it shouldnt. The stuff is brand new. The only thing I could think that may be doing this is the sensor is mounted on the fuel rail, so maybe vibration?? Anyone else ever have this type of problem??

I never have had any issue out of my sensor is on the fuel rail...
