amp help
My brand new amp which is a 1000.10 class d. Seems like it turns on then dies slowly. And then no subs. Wait like an hour turn car on. It does the same thing.

to me it sounds like its going into thermal protection mode.do you have the gain turn up too high?. what gauge wire are you using and what amp is it?

Idk cause the protect led isn't lit. The amp is a Hifonics 1000.10 d class. 4 gauge wire for power and ground. And 12 gauge for the sub wiring. What is the gain?

the gain is a setting in the back check to see if its to high. was the amp brand new or used?
