Rattling

Anyone know of cheap and efficient/quick ways to stop rattling and vibrations from a woofer? I was thinking of just simply dynomatting it, but if anybody knows any "ghetto"/improvised ways that would be great!

If it's the rear trunk deck that's vibrating, then you could use a spray can of truck bed liner, or under car coating. You can buy a can at your local auto parts store.

Note: this is a cheap way to fix a small area that is rattling, for a larger area you will need to use the other ideas suggested in this thread. I hope this helps.

"Great Stuff" also works well for areas that are tough to get dynomat into.. i.e. trunklid supports and other areas like that.... just stay away from moving parts with it!!!

Spray foam. if you spray it in the trunk where air can escape then it will reduce rattle because less air flow. i did this in my sunfire spray foamed in all the holes bu the license plate and all that actually did help but its messy so take your time or your going to kick your self in the ass later.
