acutually it will. all subs require certian amounts of air space (im sure you know this anyways, but ill say it for the noobs).. if the box is sealed then it is bigger than the ported ones. the size boxes i have would be fine for my subs, if they were ported.

Right, subwoofers require a certian ammount of air space. If you port the box its still going to be too small just ported now....

Edit: 2 different brands of subs, sounds like a horrible sounding system to me, especially with brands like "sony xplode and power acoustik "

System

I just installed a system in my stang. 2 Kicker Comp Vr 12's, Lanzar 1600 amp, Panasonic head unit, Capacitor, and a cheap 40 dollar box of ebay that came with tweeters and altogether it came to around 400ish. I got the box of ebay, the head unit from crutchfield, and the amp and subwoofers from audiosavings.com which is a great site. I wouldnt recomend getting your setup from best buy because you can get much better things from online. If you want I will take a couple of pictures if you need any help.

When you get into car audio its going to get EXPENSIVE very quick. It's kinda of like modding a motor. You can't supercharge it without first doing some internal work or your risking your motor.

You can't buy subs without an amp -
You have to buy either a new head unit, or a PAC adapter
You have to buy a wiring kit
Your best bet is eBay, but even then your gonna get up in the 200$+ easy
You need a box for the subs
You need to have somebody install it
If you have the mach audio system its even more of a headache

What do you want? Extremely loud or Good Sound Quality ... or Both?

may cost you over 1K... but it's kinda like pulling off a band-aid
