well you can get pretty much any sub you want to fit in your trunk.. but you need to look at what size enclusore is needed for the type of sub that you get. what size are you looking for? how much are you looking to spend? we can all shoot out brands of subs all day long, but its really what is in your budget.. i will recommend Power Acoustik.. their subs and speakers in general arent expensive, but have a good sound and the subs hit very hard

If your spending 80$ on a sub... - you might wanna look at eBay

you also need an amp, a box, wires, new cd player (or the PAC adapter)

they have stores just for sound systems and if you go in there and tell them what you are looking for and your car and everything they should be able to help you

do you live close to the ohio border? there is a store thats only in toledo and they know what they are talking about and at times they have sales but other than that you dont want to buy from them becasue of the over pricing

u gonna have to pay more than 80 for an entire system

ss he doesnt need a new deck, its a lot easier yes, but absolutely necessary no, but yea amp wiring kit is gonna be needed (like around $20-35), ur gonna need a box and amp, can get both off ebay. if u have any decent skill then u can build ur own box, just get the specs for it.

its all in what u want, u sacrifice quality the less u pay most of the time...but u will need the following:

sub
sub box (sealed or ported)
amp
amp wiring kit
new deck (if u decide to not get a new deck then u need a line out converter)

exactly... getting a sound system gets expensive... if you really want you could get replacement speakers and that would add more to the sound without having to actually get subs and an amp and the other things... but if you want just subs you will be sacrificing good sound because you will hear the subs over your stock speakers, if you get good subs anyways.
