your opinion on dynamat please


i don't have experience with dynamat but i need something to improve the way my speakers sound many people suggested dynamat <url snipped> and i have found some at <url snipped>. i am wondering if i should buy dynamat? does it really help speakers sound better and should i buy it from them?

if you want to take the cheap way out of dynamat, go to lowes and buy the frostgaurd for roofing, same stuff foil backed rubber but much cheaper!

but yeah the shit works good and it blocks out a lot of road noise also!!! but its heavy at the same time!

but is it heavier than dynamat, or that dynamat extreme? when we installed some on a truck i'm working on it appeared to actually be thinner than dynamat?

I dynamated my ranger top to bottom, every inch of that cab is cover (sept the glass) makes a huge difference. Plus no rattleing, I would suggest it to any and everyone, but it does take time and money to do it.

i dynamated just the inside of the trunk hatch and it sounds almost perfect but if i were you id buy the truck kit and do the whole truck for the best sound

i went to an audio shop and they took two metal trash cans. one with dynamat and one without, and mounted subs to them. the trashcan with the dynamat had absolutely no vibration noise at all. so i definitely say it works.
